Chris originally founded Vineyard Direct after graduating from the University of Adelaide (Roseworthy), as a pioneer online cellar door sales service - contracted by 115 Australian vineyards to sell their wines directly to wine lovers in Australia through the late 1990’s. Vineyard Direct delivered over $500,000 of incremental cellar door sales directly from wine club members and wine loving consumers.

 

Chris remains a proud Alumni of The University of Adelaide and a Wine Marketing expert with a proven track record of boosting direct sales for Cellar Doors with his wine knowledge and telesales expertise. Chris works remotely from Sydney on a casual basis. Flexibility is a strong suit, happy to be engaged on a specific project, or working as a backup to the existing cellar door team on seasonal campaigns. The service is rapidly deployable, cost-effective and leads to profitable outcomes.

 

Chris uses a customer relationship database (CRM) to professionally set up and report on all call outcomes daily. From October 2026 the set-up, download of records, scripting and briefing cost = $98.00. With a minimum of 3 hours per day service = $147.00.
